The Iowa Turn-In- Poachers (TIP) Program has been an effective tool and deterrent to fish and wildlife poaching since its inception in 1985. But, our organization is only as strong and effective as the hunters, fishers, trappers, sports club organizations, commercial businesses and individuals who continue to support TIP financially. You can also donate to TIP when you purchase your hunting, fishing or fur harvester license either on-line, or at your nearest DNR license vendor. When purchasing DNR licenses on-line you will be prompted (asked) by the system if you would be willing to contribute $2 toward the Iowa TIP program. If your license vendor does not ask if you want to donate to TIP, please tell the vendor that you want to donate $2 to the TIP program."These donated dollars go directly to TIP and are used for reward payments, promotional supplies, and for administrative costs. |

Today there are about 85 Conservation Officers in Iowa working diligently to protect our fish and wildlife resources. These Conservation Officers need our help! Every Officer has an assigned “territory” or county/counties in which they work. This large territory spreads the Officers out to the point where they cannot begin to patrol all areas of their territory on a daily basis. Many of the poaching cases being made today could not have been made without the help of concerned citizens like you who witnessed or over-heard poaching activity and called-in, filed an on-line TIP report, or called the local Conservation Officer directly to report the
details of the crime.
To become a contributing member of TIP Of Iowa, Inc. or to send a donation please use the following directions:
$20 per year individual membership; over $20 per year contributing membership; and $250 or more per year voting/sponsor membership. Sponsor organizations have the option to sponsor a TIP board member. All memberships and donations are tax deductible and should be mailed to the address below.
