Turn-In- Poachers (TIP) is a “user-friendly” program. The TIP Board along with the Iowa DNR has partnered together to design the reporting system that you see on this website. Together, we have made every effort to produce an easy and effective way for citizens to report fish and wildlife crime in Iowa. Any citizen can initiate a TIP case report, it’s as easy as picking up your cell phone or turning on your computer. To contact the TIP Board regarding membership or donations use the address below. TIP Of Iowa, Inc.
To report a fish or wildlife crime (poaching) call the TIP Hotline 800-532-2020 or file an on-line report at www.iowadnr.gov/tip by clicking on the link on this webpage. You can also use your cell phone and call the DNR Conservation Officer in your area direct by going to the DNR Officer Map on this webpage. The Officers cell numbers are listed according to the county(s) they cover.
